notes
Song House Records recording artist, ‘Cherryhill’ is led by 18 year old Kaela Bratcher and 18 year old Caitlin Whitehouse, recent Booker High School music majors. (yes… the same school as American Idol, Syesha Mercado). Their sound is a 'break the rules soulful, melancholy pop sound with jazz and classical influences'.
“The can't-miss act here is ‘Cherryhill’, a stunning, classically trained acoustic quartet helmed by pianist/singer Kaela Bratcher and violin player Caitlin Whitehouse. Its soulful, melancholy pop suggests a maturity beyond the years of these soon-to-be college music majors”. (Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, Sarasota) –AS for Creative Loafing

I am so likin' this music!
author: Cinda EvansSilky smooth, original, multi-talented! I love to listen while I'm on my way to work and then I've gotta listen on my way back home. Get's me goin' in the a.m. and winds me down at night. Can't get any better than this.

author: David TatumThis is an Amazing CD! The voice and music mix together perfectly. A must have!
Unsaid should not go unnoticed...
author: Emily MillerKaela Bratcher's voice has recently been added to the very short list of female singers I truly enjoy. It is perfectly complemented by Caitlin's mellow crying violin lines. Together their songwriting style far surpasses their years and has a very contemporary feel. It makes consistent use of techniques such as imperfect rhyme which gives their lyrics a bittersweet quality that is refreshing. Looking at these two beautiful young women, most wouldn't expect such a high quality of music that fits nearly any occasion. I firmly believe that as these two grow and mature, their music too will reach new levels, both as soloists and as a perfectly paired duo.

Stunning!
author: AS (Creative Loafing)AMP YOUR VOICE W/THE PROSPECT/PATHWAY TO PROVIDENCE/CHERRYHILL/TABLE SET FOR TWO Sarasota high school students pooled their energies for this Darfur benefit, featuring a promising lineup of young local bands that includes power punkers The Prospect, Pathway to Providence and Table Set for Two. The can't-miss act here, though, is Cherryhill, a stunning, classically trained acoustic quartet helmed by pianist/singer Kaela Bratcher and violin player Caitlin Whitehouse. Its soulful, melancholy pop suggests a maturity beyond the years of these soon-to-be college music majors. (Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, Sarasota) –AS for Creative Loafing
