Album Notes

Bee of my mind is a down-tempo darkly ambient sound with unusual melodies. Chase Frank has a bitter-sweet quality to her voice, while also challenging the traditions of popular music. This female vocalists not only sings but plays almost everything on the album. Comparisons have been drawn to PJ Harvey's more intimtate work, and others, but Frank's style is truly unique....musical.

This fearless album features Frank on many instruments (guitar, piano, bass, dulcimer, spoon guitar) and also has several great guest appearances (trumpet, violin, lap steel, etc.). The sweeping vocals are fresh, the lyrics poetic. "Bee of My Mind" demands several listens...like remembering a dream, Frank will remind you to care.
