A fine blend of acoustic jangle and folk/rock with a just the right amount of good old electric guitar for a twist of classic rock and roll.

notes
Other Side of My Heart is the first CD release for Chapman Jones. Chapman brings simple acoustic tones to your ears with songs like Echoes where Chapman reflects on the heartbeat of a small prairie town whose only excitement is the rumbling train passing through and the title track, Other Side Of My Heart, where a broken heart laments and seeks escape. Both are simple and elegant melodies. Chapman breaks from the acoustic side to a more raucous rock and roller on the tune Where The Rubber Meets The Road, full of driving electric guitar. But the hidden treasures are Lovely Tree, a dedication to his love of trees and There They Go, a humble acoustic tune of children leaving the nest. Then go grab your travel sack and hop aboard as Chapman gives a tip-o-the-hat to the Traveling Wilbury's in his song Going On A Holiday, a fun and fast paced melody with harmonies you'll truly enjoy.
Chapman grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been involved with music since grade school days. From church choirs, school choirs, piano, drums, he finally found the acoustic guitar and has never stopped playing it. He listened to his father’s record collection including artists such as Mahalia Jackson, the classics and the ever lovable Mitch Miller. But his real love of music blossomed from listening to rock and roll music through a transistor radio under his pillow at night.
Since those Cincinnati days, Chapman and family moved to a 30 acre farm in Southern Kentucky, planting trees, enjoying natures finest and loving the country life. Chapman is working on his second album in his home studio as well as collaborating with several musicians from around the world on what is becoming known as the "Jangle Music Project" with The Jangle Band.
