History:
Danny Chaotic created the CHAOTICA project in 1997 when he began writing industrial-metal music for his first full length album, which would later be titled "Turbocharger" when it was independently released by CHAOTICA in 1999. Soon after, Danny Chaotic recruited talented local musicians to take CHAOTICA's music to the stage while living in Fort Wayne, Indiana. CHAOTICA's live act performed at local venues in the midwest, often times filling clubs to capacity due to their high-intensity stage antics and over-stimulating light and video effects.
For 4 years running, CHAOTICA won local radio contests to appear on compilation albums produced by area commercial radio station X-102 WEJE (later WXTW) consisting of the hottest local talent. CHAOTICA released a music video for their first single "Ultra Violence" compiled from footage from their live performances. CHAOTICA went on to record a stand-alone single entitled "Where Was God?" that won a spot on the WXTW compilation album "Extreme Essentials Vol. 5. CHAOTICA began receiving notable airplay from college and commercial radio stations from 2001-2002, especially when they released their limited-production remix album entitled "Offset Impact."
CHAOTICA moved on to work with Marilyn Manson's now defunct record company "Posthuman Records" to remix the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby" covered by the industrial-goth band Godhead. Lords of Acid also contributed to the remix project. Following that, Danny Chaotic left Indiana and moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he began recording tracks for the band's sophomore album, "Prison of Decay."
CHAOTICA is currently releasing material through Phoenix-based indie label "Cold Fusion Records" and plans to release a music video later this year. All songs from Prison of Decay are currently available from most online music download stores (including iTunes, Napster, etc.), and their CD is available on CDbaby.com and through special order from most retail stores, online stores (like Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, etc.), and from the band's website at www.chaoticamusic.com.

I was dissapointed when I opened my new CD to find 4 scratches already on it, but it doesn't skip so F it! I love this band!
Amazing CD.
author: AmberThe day I discovered Chaotica I was immediatly addicted. I knew their CD would be something special so I HAD to have it. I ordered it and as soon as it got to my house it went into my CD player. I've got all my friends listening to them now and they all agree that Chaotica is amazing. They have a very unique sound. Favorite CD by far. It's a must have!
Excellent CD!
author: GangrifI also heard Unstable on XM's Squizz, then they suddenly stopped playing. Hunted around and heard When She Falls, I was hooked. I dont think there's a single song on this disc i dont like. I listen to it while I'm running, great for keeping the momentum. Great album, keep it up!

Really liked This
author: GregBeen playing this on my ride to work for a while now still not sick of it. One of the few albums I purchased recently that I like from begining to end. Will admit I skip 11 sometimes, kinda depressing song
Excellent Album
author: BrandonThis is an incredible album. In the vein of the industrial leaders who came before him (KMFDM, Pig, Ministry, Rammstien, etc.) Danny Chaotic is definitely a very talented individual. Each song maintains a very consistent but unique sound, making the album very entertaining to listen to and ensuring multiple listen-thrus. I don't know if I would compare it to NiN, Rob Zombie or Linkin Park as this website does; it's a lot more like Crossbreed, or later-era KMFDM/MDFMK. NiN is so much more moody, while Rob Zombie is a lot heavier; CHAOTICA is like The Prodigy, Daft Punk and Gravity Kills all thrown into a blender; a very solid industrial sound that the scene needs, without over-sampled vocals and all of the other cliches normally associated with industrial. It's just fast, raw, and energetic. I definitely look forward to hearing more from this band. I also purchased Turbocharger, and I feel Prison of Decay is a stronger release, although both are good CD's.
really good
author: matti heard 'unstable' on xm radio and knew i had to buy this cd .. it's really good. lyrics at times are corny the way he tries to make them rhyme perfectly, but, he pulls it off .. good stuff.
Amazing
author: Eric DWonderful CD; truly an amazing band. It'll catch your ear and not let go for a long time. I've listened to it 5 times over on repeat at most; but I seem to do that daily. Buy it! Enjoy it! Spread the word, Chaotica is awesome!
Awsome
author: tsonkaAwsome CD, would buy it again
An exceptional composition of instruments and electronics
author: teknautikYou will become captivated by the blend of so many music genres, tightly wrapped around anthem-like choruses. The album embodies various emotions and you’ll find yourself reaching for this escape no matter what mood you’re in. Each song stands on its own and each worthy of being the title track, making it difficult to pick any one particular song as being a favorite. Warning: This album contains more energy than the Energizer bunny.
Good but not as Good as the original
author: BoormanThis cd is good with some hard hitting songs.. although there are a few songs that reminded me of prozzak.. sorry guys. Keep up the hard stuff drop the other stuff.
Perfect example of intelligent talent at work
author: JessicaThis CD is a perfect example of an intelligent guy using his ingenious skill to write songs that not only have a message but actually sound cool. It blends techno, industrial, rock, heavy metal, and dance all into one, along with catchy lyrics. It's hard to choose your favorite song, you get to the next one and think, "Oh, wow, this one is awesome too!" BUY THIS CD - it's the next big thing I tell ya
Great follow up!
author: ChrisI've listened to this album quite a few times since I received it. It is definately a change from Turbocharger, but the evolution of the sound is great! Stand out tracks are: Unstable, Church Of Man, When She Falls, I Despise, Katie's Pet Bird, and the title track. The whole album is a good mix of nice synthetic lines with complimenting guitar riffs. A few of the synth lines has a nice retro feel with a modern twist. I highly recommend giving this disc a spin!
Every song is my favorite
author: SusieEvery song on this album is awesome. Each time I listen to it I think the current song is the best--until I listen to the next one. I drive to work singing Unstable, and sing Prison of Decay under my breath while I'm there. If I'm having a REALLY bad day, I sing the chorus from House of Red Tape...I really recommend this CD!
Great album from start to finish.
author: Keri E.This is a great CD, full of energy and catchy melodies. I received it as a gift and haven't stopped listening to it since.
