There are some real gems on Not Really Jazz.
author: Don KimenkerOn this CD, Jim Vittek has recruited vocalist Annetta Harris to lend some soulful speaking and singing lines to his brand of unique duet style. There's a 'coolness' to the production on tunes like "Hot Coffee," "Leave Me Alone," "Wild and Crazy," and "I've Got a Friend."
Whether you are old school or new school, this jazz is superb.
author: Jazz and JavaSmooth, naughty but nice vocals and virtuoso guitar make Not Really Jazz great listening. The band can flat out play. Includes six instrumentals. It is not all jazz, but it is all good.
