notes
Mark Chan is a very popular and acclaimed recording artist/singer/songwriter and instrumentalist, who is based in Singapore. He is recognized as one of Singapore's premier composers, particularly for his unique blend of Eastern and Western styles of music. Chan has recorded seven solo albums to date, and he also composes for films and stage productions.
Chan’s album Travelling Under The Light Of The Full Moon (which was recorded in 1997) is a beautiful collection of graceful ballads and appealing midtempo tunes. He uniquely combines classical pop elements with distinctive Asian styles. Chan wrote all 12 songs on this album. If you like Josh Groban’s classical pop style mixed in with Asian music elements, you will enjoy listening to this album.
