notes
in the chinese ming and qing dynasties the emperos used to conduct military and civil officials in the front part of the city. the rear part of the city consisted of five main palaces, twelve side-palaces and three rpyal gardens. members of the imperial family lived and played here for their whole lives. mr chung fu-chuan, a famous composer of authority in chinese royal music, recomposed these pieces to reveal completely the mystery palace lives.this is a beautifully recorded and packaged work with a n historically significant booklet. fans of world music and asian cultural history will love this work .
