notes
Novelty Rock is a dirty business, but someone has to do it. Just don't ask why.
Cab City Combo never has. After ten years making fun of rock and roll and country and punk and pop, it's all available on one CD!
Pork Side of the Moon asks the musical question 'Was any of this necessary?' and refuses to answer. Played on the Dr. Demento show a few times, Jello Biafra told us 'I only reply to people whose tapes I like and I like yours quite a bit.'
A favorite on college radio shows around the country, this CD offers a chance to hear what the lyrics to 'Louie, Louie' really are, rips the lid off the whole Santa business, gives you Pinball Wizard in only 7 seconds, and lets you laugh along with funny subjects like diabetes, entropy, and sinking the state of Pennsylvania!
Weird with a beard!

Worth the Money!!
author: Bruce BabcockAs good as Wierd Al and Bob Rivers, if not better. CD Baby service was quick and reliable. Would not hesitate to order through them again. I especially liked their shipping notification eMails.
At first listen, this New York group sounds like a standard Roots/Punk band with really obnoxious vocals. Closer inspection reveals it to be a trashy Comedy Rock band that backs its narrative lyrics with Roots/Punk stylings, all topped off with some really obnoxious vocals.
My ears will never be the same
author: Der Monniker-social CleansingCab City Combo has released an album chock full of classics here...Forget Weird Al or those other comedy dudes, this is the real deal as a fine cast of actors, musicians, and misfits capture to disc the novelty side of illness, old movie icons, santa, umbrellas and Ford's Theatre. 10 years in the making and totally uncompromising in its silliness and attitude, Pork Side of the Moon is a must for anyone who grew up listening to Dr. Demento....THEY'RE COMING TO TAKE ME AWAY AHAAAAAAAAAA
