(About MP3 downloads at CD Baby)

A diverse album of folk, roots/blues rock, and poppy little love songs thrown in for good measure....aka adult alternative.

notes

Catherine was born at a very young age, etc, etc...... She is well known (to herself?) for her extreme nimbility, a downright fascinating grasp of the ridiculous, and the relentless pursuit of authentic living.

Catherine lives to create each day - through writing, playing guitar and piano, painting, photography, and generally striving to see the world with open eyes. She has been writing songs for 15 years and laying down 4-track versions on cassette (remember cassette-one step up from carving your music into rock with a chisel??). This is her first full studio effort, and she had a blast. Catherine's heartfelt thanks to Michael Borkosky - producer/arranger extraordinaire, and to all those who have supported her through this birthing process. Her musical interests and influences are diverse - blues, folk, rock, pop, jazz standards, hip hop - and everything in between.
Catherine lives in Toronto, Canada.

Things Catherine's Mum has said:
"Organic, well-crafted, refreshing, clever, easy to listen to..."

"...a great summer CD! Put it on and get happy..."

"Don't use that sarcasm with me, young lady!"

**************
Hope you like the music. Peace, love, and light. Over.

By far one of the Best CD's to be put out by an independent artist in quite some time....The Music is both inspiring, and refreshing...!

    author: Liz VandenBygaart

A refreshingly unique compilation of easy to listen to music. Favourite's are might be nothing, saved me again and all I need is you.

My favorite selections are "747," "All I Need is You" and "Love and Light." As someone with a musician/recording artist background myself, your music is a rarity with its refreshingly solid songwriting. Out of all the artists on CD Baby uploading daily, this level is, indeed, rare...truthfully.

  • The most profoundly diverse work I have heard in years...
    author: Matthew Landon

This well rounded exploration of life, both internal and external, is complex and yet refreshingly satisfying. A must listen for all music lovers.
