her self titled EP is a modern blend of brit pop, rock and elements of americana - this cd takes you inside cynthia's world three minutes at a time, with startlingly visual stories about the journey to find love, belonging, a sense of family..
tad wadhams (sheryl crow, farm dogs) has co-written and produced this wonderfully atmospheric and yet highly intimate cd.
currently, cynthia is part of the band "saucy monky". in 2005, saucy monky's latest cd "turbulence" was licensed by 429/WEA records in the states, and measured records in the u.k.

author: NevBought this after seeing Cynthia play live with Saucy Monky in Ireland,saw an immense talent with a desire to rock and entertain that will surely bring success to her and the band.Great Cd ..favorites include Starz & Down On Me..Anyway I'm hooked !!!!
My Stereo's Wearing A Hole In My Copy...
author: Bryan Manchi...I've been playing it that much. I heard a couple of the tracks from this CD on MP3.Com and liked them so much that I decided to take the plunge. I wasn't disappointed, the vocals, instrumentation and (most importantly) the songs were all top notch. My personal favourites are Starz and Time Out In Vegas. I look forward to CC becoming a big star so that she can come over to the U.K. so that I will be able to see her in concert. All the best!
Sweet songwriting that defies categorization!
author: Lise HilfigerAfter picking up this wonderfull disc from one of Cynthia's showz, I was amazed at the diversity that this artist (a true artiste) has going on, between her live sets and her studio work. The live set was completely captivating for me, and Cynthia shows an amazingly secure stage presence every inch of the way through. Her voice is hard for me to place, but I bet every other chick rocker wishes they could have it! The album is full of treats ranging from rock to pop and a little bit of everthing in between. The songwriting is thoughtful, intelligent, mature, kind of humerous at times. Catania is currently one of my most played. My fav trax are Mermaid and Truth and Lies. Only thing I'm disappointed about is that it's not longer, but for the price Cynthia is being so kind to let us buy it at, this disc is a bargain! Support our great LA talent. Cynthia Catania is tops!
Guts, Soul and passion
author: Mark BrinkI saw Cynthia play live at a college in New Jersey, and was 'blown away' by her emotion. Bought the CD and to be honest, I put it up against any chick rocker thats out there today. Crows will fly when cynthia is around. That is just being DeFRANC! Great Tunes!!! Rock on double C!!!
