    All I can say is this: buy this cd. Bluebirds will fly down from the heavens and your head will be encircled with a glowing halo of light. You will think to yourself, "Oh! The angels must be singing me a celestial melody!" But you would be mistaken. That's merely how beautifully breathtaking Castledoor's 'Follow the Dove' is. If I could, I'd bake them some cookies.

    What can I say that hasn't been said? I've heard some of the new songs, and I've heard some of the "old" songs that didn't make it to "Follow the Dove", and they are all fantastic. I agree about the interludes. They are cool and give the band some sort of identity, but I'd like to hear more music. I can't get enough of castledoor. They will, unmistakably, be a "big" band in the future. Mark my words. I love this band and support them fully.

    This EP is delectable. It's like listening to pure joy. I've wanted this CD since Castledoor put it out, and I was only able to afford it recently. I got it this morning, immediately put it on, and... It was like relaxation pumped straight to my brain through my ears. As someone has already said: forgo two lattes this week and put your pennies towards Castledoor. And my addition: you won't regret it!

    Knowing Nate Cole and Gabe Combs were members of the former Plus One, makes "Follow The Dove" very intriguing (especially after listening to the last song). Plus One's "Exodus" album was spectacular and since then I have been waiting for them to do something. Now, finally, Castledoor is here - with an actual dedicated band, their own written songs, their wives singing and being cute, and with their at home studio recording. All in all this EP is absolutely terrific. Every song is well crafted and thoughtful, honest, and inspiring.

    I love this CD, I first listened to some of the songs on it while i was surfing Myspace. I love this CD so much, it is very original and I am glad to own it. Also, Cd Baby had very fast shipping and courteous service too.

    These guys are awesome and always have been since their Plus One days. But this Castledoor Ep "Follow The Dove" separates them from the rest. Their breaking traditional rules of what new artists usually sound like or what the radio plays. Castledoor is going to be a major staple in this industry before we all know it. All the fans who found them first can just say they knew them when.

    I love this CD. To me its like a modern day beach boys. The lyrics are amazing, fun, and uplifting. I feel like my dreams are coming true while I'm listening to it. Its good travel music..whether you are walking, driving.. taking the bus. It's great to just stare out the window and sing along. I reccomend it to anyone looking to improve their listening habits.

    It has been amazing to hear the evolution that Nate and Gabe have made, musically, since their days with Plus One. From pop ballads to quirky, yet thought-provoking songs, the boys are experimenting creatively and with success! I would highly recommend this CD! The beats are catchy and within a few listens, you'll be singing along with Nate's unmistakable voice. My one complaint is that as a Castledoor fan from the beginning, they did not include some of the songs they had originally had on their website. Instead, they included two interludes. I would have liked to have seen "Building Blocks," "This Is Just A Test," or "Angry Drivers" on the track list instead.

    I would highly recommend this CD to everyone, especially those who are into more quirky stuff. It's great. Nice beats. Nice melodies and backgrounds. Really well put together. If there were about 5 more songs, you'd never know it's an EP. It's very well produced. Gabe is awesome on the keys. He's got some really great stuff in the songs. Nate's vocals are clean and crisp. The words are well thought out. The drummer has a nice simple, no-nonsense style which really adds to the music. Great, great stuff. I like the girls on the backgrounds, too. Way to keep it in the family. Makes for a more intimate release. I'm not sure if Castledoor is looking to get signed, but if they are, I doubt they'll have much of a problem with an EP like this out (especially considering Nate and Gabe's background with Plus One). If they do get signed, I hope they keep their style and the label doesn't want to tweak their sound. We need more unique music like this out there. It's not all about distortion guitar, rock drums, bass and cookie cutter melodies people!

    It's so refreshing when you can follow a band or artist from the beginning and with each album there is a growth and evolution of the sound--and this is quite an evolution! Catchy, not pop-y, these songs are unique and quite original, leaving the listener hitting the repeat button at the end of the 8 tracks. This ep is a great taste of what's to come with Castledoor's music.

    Burn the Maps is a great tradition breaker. My 4 year old really likes it too. The sound is what I like. Lyrics and themes are one of a kind. The talent really shows on this CD. GREat Job.

    Where the heck is FALL APART??? it is the most beautiful song i've ever heard and it was not included, which was a big surprise. HOWEVER, other than that is is a wonderful c.d....so different and unique from other bands that are trying to break into the business. It is for sure worth getting...my only complaint is that fall apart is not there. EVERYONE BUY IT!!:)

    Why wasn't "FALL APART" included on this EP? So deep and melodic - it put me in a coma. It really highlighted Nate's vocals and the girls singing background were incredible. Great lyrics as well. oh well....

    This CD is a good break from all the other stuff on the radio. Deeper and more personal lyrics. Even though the chord progressions are more simple the way the change ups on the songs happen, it makes it sound intricate and complex. Nates voice is awsome but can be a little whiney at times. Overall, Great new sound and idea. Can't wait to hear them progress over the years!

    This album differs greatly from Nate Cole and Gabe Comb's recent ones with Plus One, but it's still a great listen. The lyrics are catchy and the music makes you want to nod your head and tap your feet. Castledoor's originality and uniqueness as a band can be seen in Follow the Dove. Buy this album. It will be well worth your time.
