notes
Audiences and critics alike are stunned by the music of Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer.
Their "postmodern mythic American" music is heavy on mysticism and storytelling, and also deeply rooted in folk, bluegrass, and country idioms.
Carter conjures romantic, true fictions set amid vivid wild-west landscapes, while Grammer counterpoints his expert guitar, banjo, and voice with beautifully intoned violin, guitar, mandolin, and spine-chilling harmonies.

You'll enjoy it
author: Eclipse GirlI purchased after haing the duos first CD. I wasn't disappointed. Modern folk, limited production, good tunes. What more good you want?
This CD turned me into a devoted fan, beautiful stuff
author: Long-time acoustic music fanI first heard the song Tanglewood Tree on a complitaion and it hooked me. But when I heard the whole CD, I really fell in love with Dave and Tracy. The songwriting is brilliant, and the harmonies are stunning. I love all of their music, and Tracy's solo stuff, but this CD will always hold a special place in my heart, and is the one I can't live without. More people need to hear this...
