notes
Audiences and critics alike are stunned by the music of Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer.
The buzz from their 2000 album Tanglewood Tree has established the duo as one of the hottest acts on the acoustic music curcuit.
The album was a huge success at both press and radio, spending much of the year on the AAA and Americana charts and was included on dozens of "best of 2000" lists.
Carter and Grammer hit the road with their first year of national touring, gaining legions of new fans wherever they played.
Striking while the iron is hot, the duo return with Drum Hat Buddha, an incredible collection of music sure to cement their reputation as one of the most unique acts to come along in years.

One of the good ones
author: Eclipse GirlI was given this as a brithday gift. I LOVED it. I kept playing it until I knew all the songs. I dont think you'll be disappointed.
Thoughtful, intellegent, heartfelt....and good music to boot.
author: Bob TheisI can't say I care for the cornpone-y bluegrass tunes, amusing as they are; the medium interferes too much with the message. BUT the lyrical songs are both delightful and intellectually engaging, a rare combination.
'Drum Hat Budha' is a must for the folk music lover's collection.
author: Bruce MillerI'm into strings, vocal harmonies, and clean production so 'Drum Hat Budha' was no disappointment. It's also refreshing to buy a cd where every song is really good and the hooks grab you from first listen. As a new Carter/Grammer fan, My collection also includes 'Tanglewood Tree' and 'The Verdant Mile', and I plan to buy 'Flower of Avalon' next. When talent is this superb, why hold back?
