CARRIE OLIVER was born and raised in Weirton, West Virginia. After graduation from high school in 1994, she went on to pursue a career in music by studying Vocal Performance at Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. She received her Bachelor's Degree in 1998.
Carrie has sung in churches all over the Unites States, including the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., as well as outside the U.S., in the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France and the Canterbury Cathedral in England.
Carrie released her first Christian Contemporary Album entitled "In His Time" in 2000. She competed in the Gospel Music Association's "Seminar in the Rockies" in Colorado in 2001 where she was awarded third place in the Vocal Competition for Christian Artists.
Carrie has been the Director of Music Ministries for St. Paul Catholic Church in Weirton, West Virginia since 2003. She also continues with her Contemporary Christian Concert Ministry, where she sings and shares her testimony, along with inspirational speaking.
Her first Christmas Album entitled "Blessed Christmas" which was recorded at The Sound Kitchen Studio in Franklin, Tennessee and produced by Praise Hymn Inc. has just been released and is now available.
