About the Composer
Della Heide, mystic, nutritionist, and spiritual teacher, made her transition in April, 2006. Music was always a part of her life. When she was just a child, she longed to play the piano. But providing music lessons was not possible for her large farm family of eleven brothers and sisters. In church one day, Della heard the minister say, “If you truly desire for an outcome, pray without ceasing." Della stayed up all night and prayed to learn how to play the piano. In the morning she found that her wish had been granted! She was able to sit down at the keyboard and play beautifully!

During meditation she would receive inspirational songs. Over the years she wrote hundreds of them. “Songs of Della Heide”, volumes 1 and 2 have been published by The Academy for Future Science www.affs.org PO Box FE, Los Gatos, CA 95031. The group has also recorded and published “Celestial Lullabies,” Della’s 12 compositions for babies related to the signs of the zodiac.

In February, 2006, I (Carole Glenn) visited Della in her home in Saratoga, CA, with my mother, June d’Estelle, and our friend Peter Navarro. June and Peter and Della had gone to Sonoma State University in the 1970s where they received their degrees in Psychology and Parapsychology.

Upon returning home, I felt an urgent need to record some of our favorite songs written by Della. These have been sung for years in the Alohem Center for Transformational Studies gatherings. I contacted Gil Yslas, and within two weeks we had recorded Say To The World, “I Love You!” Gil provided the accompaniment, mixed, and mastered the CD.

Della’s daughter, Joanne Johnson, played the CD for her mother on Della’s birthday in April. Two days later, Della made her transition. We are honored to be able to share some of Della’s musical gifts with this recording.

About the performers:
Carole Glenn (www.lifeharmonymusic.com) is a Certified Music Practitioner, a graduate of the Music for Healing and Transition Program (www.mhtp.org) She sings and plays guitar for those who are ill, birthing, or transitioning in two hospices and a hospital in the Tacoma, WA, area.

Carole received her Music Education BA from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, and her MA from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA. She received her Doctorate of Spiritual Studies from the Center for Transformational Studies.

She taught 35 years of junior high music in Modesto, CA and Silverdale, WA. She sang with the Robert Shaw Workshop at Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ, for 14 summers and also sang with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus for several years. Carole enjoys photography and travel throughout North America and in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Her goal is to visit all the continents of the earth!

Gil Yslas, Magic Rock Recording, is a versatile guitarist, producer, songwriter, engineer. His email address is yslas@earthlink.net He produces independent album projects along with special TV and DVD productions and commercials.
Gil has created music for many television, radio and movie productions. He is experienced in all aspects of music production with an emphasis on the New Age and Spirital markets.
