For over 8 years, the Caribbean Magic Steelband has warmed the hearts of music lovers and party goers with the scintillating sounds of its steel pans and its pulsating Caribbean rhythms. At parties, weddings, receptions, promotions, concerts, festivals and cruise ships, these exciting musicians creates an atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on the listener.

Through years of experience, the band has developed a dynamic touch and tone together with a musical repertoire to suit just any occasion and has the listener asking for more. While their main course of music is the traditional sounds of the Caribbean (calypso, reggae), the group also includes in its repertoire some jazz, pop, easy listening and a large selection of Classical music.

First formed in 1993 by Sheldon James Musical Director, the group then consisted of members of the Amoco Renegades Steel Orchestra. Although the group has seen some personnel changes over the years, its professional and unique sound has always been the main focus of the group contributing to Caribbean Magic success both locally and Internationally.

The group's instrumentation delivers a full range of musical sound from soprano pans to bass pans, with double second, and cello pans providing mid range accompaniment. The drums provide rhythm support, with the drummer also playing the double second during the group's classical renditions.

Whether the occasion calls for dancing, listening, background music, or accompaniment, Caribbean Magic have demonstrated time and time again that they know how to make an event truly special. They bring the same enthusiasm to a cocktail party, festival or chamber concert that they project on stage as the 19-member group, which travels to Japan and Europe yearly.
