notes

This is a CD that the CALL BOX Band would have recorded if we had not been flooded out of our studio, when the upstairs room caught on fire. So I started it myself playing all the instruments setting up my recording equipment at home on my dining room table. The cover pitcher is of me in front of my fireplace with my Marshall half-stacking and guitar. The inside pitchers are also of me made on PhotoShop. The first song the Monkey Pushes The Button is about how sometimes you forget what you did all week, you must have let that the monkey out of your brain and now he's driving your car “step on the break monkey”. Song 2 is BAD MAN was inspired by John Lee Hooker and Do Without Love was an older song I wrote in 1987. The song Said Too Much is something like Chris Isaac style. The song Politics is one song that I wrote in 1980. #7 Twilight zone was one I wrote this year. I NEED Some of that is a kind of blue song. Make the Angel cry a metal song about a very bad girl that lives right next store. Run into the past is a song that reminds me of the Allman Brothers just jam song. BIG GIRL is about how I like large dancing women. Greenback blues is just a song I wrote five years ago Waiting For was a song I have wrote this year and probably would sound better if the band actually played it. Water damage is about the studio being flooded out. The last two-song track 15 and 16 is just a jam from when I entered a guitar-playing contest.
If you buy this CD the money will go to replace a guitar a few petals and a new digital recorder and all that had been water damage
Thank you TERRY ST.DENIS
