Billy Ross is an award winning songwriter. He is a veteran of the Korean War, a family man, patriot and all around musician.
A Texan through and through his music is written in the west Texas style that reminds one of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Marty Robbins. He is country. Most of these songs harken back to the Texas sounds of the 1970's. A little Tex Mex flavor on a couple of songs.
The ultra patriotic song "Don't Burn My Flag" and the romantic "Mr. Daydream" are the writers and recording artists favotite cuts on this album.
The Calhouns are recording artists and traveling musicians who have appeared nationwide and internationally. Jim Calhoun brings his own unique style to Billy's songs. It is a great combination.
