The "Bill Wright Band", one of Colorado's hottest acts, plays a high-energy blend of "Old School/New School" rock & roll! "BWB" has been a fixture in the Denver music scene for six years, entertaining every kind of audience in every kind of club. With the release of their third, "BWB 3", the band felt it was time to broaden their horizons, and to that end, they've hooked up with a Nashville based national insider referral company who will be shopping them to the labels. Their latest CD "Outer Limits" has just arrived. Recorded in Colorado, it was mastered in Petaluma, CA by award winning engineer Gregg Schnitzer Locally, In Denver, they can be heard on 99.5 The Mountain, where they are played both on the Homegrown Hour and in regular rotation. In addition, their music is being played in Holland, Belgium, on 2 Australian radio stations, Kooba Radio in London, WSVNRadio, 440Music.com internet radio stations in Chicago, with more coming..
The core of the band is, Bill Wright, guitars and vocals, Geno Sirokman, bass and vocals and Carl Holz on drums. Kerry Paige, sax and wind synth, is a long time and frequent participant in recordings and performances.

BWB has created a sharp, potent, melodically lush new CD
author: Mitch Drago, Tradewinds MusicI love the guitar-playing on this CD. Bill Wright proves that he can turn a blues lick as soulful as Clapton, and yet wind it up like Steve Lukather when the mood strikes him. And, speaking of Luke, the monster Southern Rock shuffle Burnin' It Up brings to mind the energy of Boz Scaggs' hit Breakdown Dead Ahead. It's one of my two picks for hit single from this collection. There's a touching, honest ballad, B There 4 U (the prettiest thing on the CD, featuring vibrant sax by Kerry Paige), that just begs for airplay, but my other pick for DJ's is the smoky, sinister Runaway Train, an intense, understated classic rock groove reminiscent of the Doors at their strongest. Get your hands on this CD.
