`Mimi Burns Band~
album release-I know you're out there
Mimi Burns begin touring Europe in 1999 after their first album release "Slipping Away" followed
by their second album "Ballade of Ned Haywood".
This exceptionally well loved band quickly received zealous and loyal fan based acclaim
though pub packed nights and radio play in over 30 countries including Japan, Costa Rica, Australia, Europe the U.K. and the North American Continent.
In addition to touring, Mimi Burns had a radio show in the San Francisco, Bay Area of California, where she was dedicated to helping upcoming artists get their music heard.
With a listening audience of over 100,000 she found that her audience members were dearly devoted fans who seem to follow and support her in all of her endeavors.
After inspirational tours and fan letters, Mimi and her band decided to work on their third album entitled 'I know you're out there'
which is fraught with tales of ghosts and desperately lost loves. A melodic mixture of fiddles, electrics guitars, those soaring harmonies and a few harps and bagpipes to add to the epic flavor.
"When Morning Comes (now known as I know you're out there)' the first single off the album had not 'officially' been released in late 2006,
but quickly climbed the charts around independent radio and podcasts.
The Mimi Burns Band are currently rocking the world with their Celtic flare. They are playing festivals, fund raisers and benefit concerts for those in need of a little something you don't hear everyday. They hope you will be swept away in your journey through the music.

Absolutely chilling!
author: Casey ScottYet another home run for the Mimi Burns Band. There were many songs on the last two CD's that appealed to me and sometimes even raised the hair on my arms-this CD gives me goosebumps upon goosebumps! Mimi's smoky, melodious voice paired with the phenomenal talents of the band members makes you wonder why these guys aren't signed with a major record label. They are absolutely, positively top notch! Love you guys!!
I love it!
author: Angela SiegfriedThe Mimi Burns Band's new album "I Know You're Out There" is awesome. She sings about ghosts and lost loves. The songs hit on a personal note for me, and I get very emotional when I listen to the album. I especially like Sara Rose and Netherworld. Check it out; you won't regret it.
