Hi, Hello, Howdy...and welcome to Fish in a Tree County -- the home of The BummKinn Band!! We're sure you'll be singing, clapping and stomping along to this jamboree of rootsy music that’s boot-scootin fun for families to listen to and sing along!
Recognized by Maverick Magazine for her "luscious Wynette-esque voice," Texas-born lead singer Kimber Breaux (Rosie Mae BummKinn) credits artists including Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, and Dolly Parton as her influences.
Additional vocals provided by some fine country artists including King Cotton, Keith Gattis, Bryson Jones, Bobby Joyner, and Jonny Kaplan. The band's rockin' story-songs are focused on finding friends, having hope, making mistakes and living out your dreams.
About the band's debut CD, STARRY SKIES AND LULLABIES, reviewer Gregory Keer writes, “With song craft and musicianship that Nashville would be proud of and words young kids can relate to, the Bummkinn Band has itself a blue-ribbon winner of an album.”
When you buy our CD, your kids will meet Joe Bear BummKinn. He's the rootin’ tootin’ high falutin guitar-playing star of WeeHaw, the favorite TV show of everyone down here in the small pocket-sized city we call home. The “Buck Owens” of the stuffed animal world, Joe’s a teddy-sized fella with a grizzly-sized personality Why, he’s so famous he has his own fan club – The BummKinn Band-itos. His fans follow him here, there and everywhere. We hope you'll become one of his fans too.
Our special thanks to John Paul DeJoria for his belief and support in this CD.
So wherever the road takes you, may there be "Starry Skies and Lullabies and dreams come true..."

Groove me back to childhood
author: SemmelI got Starry Skies & Lullabies for my nieces, and they love it! My sister works in the day care industry and loved the CD as well. We both always laugh at how much we love the songs. A kids CD you never once feel bad singing along with! You will not be disappointed... and your kids won't be either!

Country Roads Take Me Home!
author: Jeannette SantoroThe cd Starry Skies & Lullabies by the Bummkinn Band is absolutely good ole fun for children. The songs are sweet and fun with good lyrics and musical composition. A must have for children between the ages of 2-8! I am so thankful we were turned onto the cd. I can't wait to give the cd as gifts to children we know.
