  • A personal favorite.

I have to say that my opinion is totally biased in favor of this funk-full band, because my brother is one of the trumpet players on this album (the really dorky laughing at the beginning of the track King Charles- thats my brother). In fact, my brother wrote the horn section on King Charles, which is one of my favorite on the album. But in my experience, its hard to find a 16-year-old girl who appreciates this kind of music, and I really do. It's the music I play on my ipod on the way to school, its cool, its fresh, and lends a beat to my morning routine. I've introduced this band to a lot of my friends and they've caught on, spread the lovin' around my friends. The Budos Band is worth remembering, and I'm not just saying that, to get "cool-little-sister points" I mean it.

I just love these rascals! Amazing sounds and stuff. Like a vintage 1970's pornosonic soundtrack people. Grab yo' selves a copy and get pumpin' yo' spirits upwards. Like Morgan Freeman said in Shawshank Redemption folks "...get busy living..." Not sure if they had this party music in mind but alas. Perhaps something like The BUDOS Band 2 cd is more modern. "Crank It Up" says Bruno of Sasha Baron Cohen fame! The Budos Band are the real deal Daddies of the polyester nights. Mustaches grown seperately. For sure the Bee Hive wearing...bare bottom bouncing babes feeling alive through the wee hours of the morning. Until the stereo shorts out or the police arrive. Party hearty and do it often. Let the Budos Band bust your proverbial nuts. That's it from the Corn Bread Freak for tonight!

  • Good Job!

Jimmy losing his nerve now...help?

I have appreciated these men since they played at a private party a few years ago in New York city. Many Score Group Models happened to be in town for a promotion of sorts on that weekend. It was a great night and The Budos Band really rocked the club. We were impressed with their songs and their groovy solos. I was with my friends including Minka & the Masked Rascal himself Blue Balls. However;do to ongoing confidentiality of meeting i can only speak of The Budos Band. Great rythyms were poured out into this small club. Budos Band has cool latin chops and season their swing with zest and skill. We drank with a few of the band members afterwards. They were engaging and quite sweet. A classy group of musicians. I love their style and want to promote their music now. Keep up the great work Budos Band. We expect to hear exciting things from you in the near future. Love Kayla Kleevage from the Score Group company.
