notes
Buddy Lewis grew up in Houston, Texas which also happens to be the haven of honky tonk singers. As a teenager, Buddy started to play the honky tonks and was eventually allowed to sing. As Buddy learned to sing and play guitar in the honky tonks he worked with many well known artists (Willie Nelson, Doug Kershaw, Johnny Rodriguez, Lefty Frizzell and many others). Out of this honky tonk upbringing, Buddy developed respect and love for the pickers and singers who ply their trade in the honky tonks. Many of those singers and musicians met an early fate as a result of the hard life of honky tonks. This album is full of great new songs by great new songwriters that represent the traditional honky tonk sound that Buddy Lewis grew up with. Enjoy!

Buddy Lewis' best album yet!
author: Cozette McGaughBuddy Lewis has once again released an album that is truly original and varies in country genres. Each song is so different that it is difficult to choose which is my favorite.
