notes
Born and raised in Reading, PA, Bruce Torres is a singer/songwriter with a lot of heart. His sound blends the feel of artists like Lenny Kravitz, John Mayer, and Prince and Chris Martin
His songs range from the popular Philly tune Citygirl, to the heartbreaking Dream Child, to the heavy dance feel of Better Than Waiting, Tied, and Another
Life.
Bruce's career began as a solo acoustic performer, and his live act has now grown to feature a full backing band with Rhythm & Rock marking his album debut.
"I want to move people...physically and emotionally... to laugh while holding back tears... I love to dance and to see people dance to my songs."

Rhythm & Rock
author: SarahWhat an amazing debut cd! Can't wait for the next one. Bruce's music flows through the soul. And, if you ever get a chance to see him perform...do it!
Bruce is a the next up and comer
author: Terra SaltzmanI have followed the career of Bruce since it's start in Miami. His music has really evolved and his voice even stronger with time. Amazing.
Goes back to a time when guitar licks and harmony were king.
author: Tony (T-Bone) DeOliveiraA fantastic debut album from a guy whose music naturally flows from his heart, hands and guts. The opening track, Another Life, harkens back to a time when guitar licks and harmony were king, and the likes of Better Than Waiting sounds like Mr. Lenny Kravitz blessed it himself. Citygirl and Tied, mainstays of Mr. Torres, have been remixed, remastered and reborn in the studio, and if I can be so bold, darn near brings a tear to my eyes. If you happen to be a follower of this guy or just want to get up and groove, I can't think of a better blend of Funk, Groove and oh yeah... Rythm & Rock.
