notes
Bruce John T has been playing guitar for over 32 years and been painting for over 40 years long since he can remember picking up a paint brush in his early years as a youth. During this time after attending Youngstown State University as a Computer Technology major he has had great interest in music in rock such as Led Zeppelin, Allmnan Brothers band, Lynard Skynard, and various other guitarists and artists throughout his career. He had taken drawing classes to start off with from well known artists in college an other painting classes to help create and grow from there artistically which has flourished over 250 paintings that have been in various art shows, studios, and homes throught Western Pennsylvania and Northeast Ohio. During this time I have played and performed in various blues bands playing lead guitar and has now decided expand and create solo songs with a vast repertoire of different sounds and more freedom in expression in a mix of classical, blues, rock, and jazz all combined to create sound with non-tiring energy throughout finger style solos. Painting on Acoustic Etchings Volume 1 is done from Amish Farm in the New Wilmington, Pennsylvania country which is the heart of most amish farmers that reside there. Bruce rarely has amish people portrayed in any sketches or paintings to respect their privacy. Hopefully a volume 2 CD will follow upon distribution of the current CD's that has been published at this time. I wish to complete more new creations utilizing various artists styles such as Phil Keaggy, Laurence Juber, Jimmy Page, Al Pettaway, Peter Finger, Preston Reed, Warren Hayes, Steve Morse and other great guitarists styles that has influenced me in making this project a reality and to publish this astronomical enterprise in it's entirety to complete, and to help other musicians create more new tunes and sounds that all can listen to as well. In closing all sales from the CD will go towards to fight Multiple Sclerosis and Autism that many people have including (printed on the CD) my wife Patricia is fighting this disease every day and her nephew John has Autism. At the present time research is slow in finding cures for dreaded diseases such as the ones mentioned and funds are always in demand to continue to develop new medicines in combating these illnesses with new technology. Again this CD has been a milestone to complete so I am hoping that it can belong somewhere in Acoustic Fingerstyle arrangements for solo guitarists! Special thanks to the people out there that has supported me since I have arrived at this website! Please ask CD Baby for special price for this CD they are on sale now! Bruce John T 9/23/07

A unique composition with hints of brilliance
author: Larry JacobsI was very impressed with this newly released, first volume of acoustic guitar fingerpicking. There is a definite emotional intensity throughout reminiscent of Peter Maunu and his early abstract compositions. I'm very much looking forward to Bruce John T's next release. Well done.
Awesome!
author: Mark H.Bruce John T has clearly composed spiritual-like acoustics through meticulous, yet avant-garde resolve; certainly rendering the guitar gods humbly proud. Awesome!

Great Cofee House Music that will get you in the mood!
author: Chuck GrachaninBruce John T'S music is simplistic yet haunting in a way that I have never heard before. I am looking forward to his next effort and this time I hope that he includes some percussions that I am sure will enhance his style! "Bravo Bruce John T."
Very High Energetic, Amazing.... hypnotic, visually, and emotionally provocative
author: John MastropietroBruce John T first CD I find is absolutely unmissable. It has phenomenal effects that will drop your jaw that is heart stopping! I own the CD now and I have now placed it in my own personal archives hope you do too! The sound of most of the songs on the CD are superbly done and well thought out that tells the tale.
