Brilliant but just barely short of Shame Based Man
author: KlanktasticBruce is a funny, funny man. Really the only reason I say S.B.M. was the better album is because I heard that one first, it's all amazing though. He's one of the few who still has a solid grasp on the art of comedy, I'd recommend him to anyone who wants to, you know, actually laugh.
Love it! Buy it!
author: JesusOh, Bruce, why was I not advised of this CDs release earlier? Super-funny shit, especially Warehouse Prayer and For the Ladies. I didn't find The Bible all that funny, but that's probably just me. Buy it-- I'm glad I did and you will be, too.
Bruce = God but still < Ham Sandwich
author: Kids In the Door JamI really like Mr. McCulloch. I hope he continues to create great art. He is tragic and funny. Tragically funny! In all seriousness, lets hope he has enough dough to keep putting out the hits. Respect!
Wickedly Weird
author: Random FunninessBruce is nuts. This CD is even weirder than his first, and if you are a Bruce McCulloch fan, you like weird. It's really impossible to describe this album in words. Suffice to say you should buy it and experience it for yourself.
Excellent CD, most definately Bruce.
author: Joe ZThis CD definately had the unmistakable Bruce style. This CD along with Shame-Based man are a must have for any Bruce fan, or even any KITH fan. Way to go Brucio. Hope you plan on making another album soon.
The oddest, funniest and most tremendous album ever!
author: DaN McKeeBruce McCulloch is the strangest human being currently working in comedy. His mind is just plain wrong in that fundamentally fantastic way that only crazed geniuses know about and this album sees that wrong mind spewing its thoughts and observations to marvellous musical accompaniment. Don't be fooled into thinking the music is just an after-thought to the comedy...this music definitely rocks and has a distinct style of McCullochesque bluesy-jazz-surf that compliments the words tremendously to create what can only be described as 'songs'. All in all...this album is a must for anyone interested in laughing and toe-tapping, and especially those with an interest in doing both at the same time.
Great follow up to Shame-Based Man!
author: Austin MooreThis CD is great. Subtle and hilarious. It makes a great companion to my evening...watching QVC at 4 a.m. in a shabby dorm room. I highly recommend it.
Probably better than Shame-Based Man
author: Mike andersonWell, I'd have to say that this CD is absolutely hilarious. In fact, I'd have to say that this is better than Shame Based Man, and that's saying something. Check it out, it's worth more than it is being sold for, and well worth your precious time. So, get to it, Impulse Buying Average Joe Consumer! Climb that mountain, and raise above mediocrity! Get this album. If you can't trust a stranger, then, who can you trust?
