Netha was born and raised on a farm in Williamsburg Iowa. She started singing at the age of 5 when her family members and friends recognized that Natha’s voice was very special.
Being born and raised in a musically talented family, Netha had the opportunities to offer her special gift, as a young singer, to many friends and people in her community while growing up, including singing at schools, church, weddings, parties, and social events.
Netha moved to Nashville after high school to start her music profession. After touring for a season with Christy Lane as her background singer, Netha has been singing and working in the studio with her husband, Mike Schrimpf, a producer.
As a talented singer in Nashville, Netha has the opportunities to work with many well known music professionals, including gospel producer Jimmie Young, Christy Lane, Rex Wiseman (Clay Walker / John Connley), Jody Johnson, and Don Frost (Music City Gospel Showcase TV Show), to name a few.
