notes
Michael Lusk, a Singer from Nashville Tennessee.
Michael Lusk is a very talented artist whose voice captivates listeners the very first time hear him sing. He communicates the song the way his writer, Duke Nguyen Browning, wanted to communicate to listeners.
Through Peter Young, a producer in Nashville, Tennessee, Duke came to know Michael Lusk as they decided to work together on recording this song. Coincidentally, Duke and his wife were at the Grand Ole Opry, seeing Loretta Lynn’s performance the night they visited Nashville in August 2007, when Michael Lusk was one of the background singers for Loretta Lynn. Duke took several photos during the performance in which Michael Lusk was singing with Loretta Lynn and two other background vocalists. About a week later back to Houston, Duke started writing this song “Nashville, Tennessee (The Singer)”. Duke could hardly imagine when Peter Young told him that it was Michael Lusk in the photo he took and planned to use for the cover of his CD. It’s just another example of how “it’s a small world” in which we live.
Another song written by Duke, also sung by Michael Lusk, will soon be released. So stay tune for “Just One More Day”.
