notes
Doug Gwyn has been a teacher of Quaker history and thought in the US and England, as well as an intermittent Friends pastor. To lighten up and keep sane, he has been writing and singing songs for more than 30 years, finding humor in Quakers, the economy, science fiction, baldness, aging, cheeseburger addiction, etc. The songs are recorded by the Brothers Doug, with syles ranging mainly through folk and doo-wop. The double-CD, "Chronicles of Babylon," compiles the better songs of his repertoire in a look at who we are and where we've been that is both humorous and troubling.
