Brook can be gritty or soft, and he can play almost any style guitar, wailing, moaning, or sweet. That's the blues.

notes
From the many musical streams that the blues have touched, these currents pour into the ocean of musical joy as we experience our loves, our losses, life in the face of death. This collection ranges through acoustic and electric blueses, touching gospel, jazz, blues-rock, swing blues, and more.
Brook has worked with the famous, the not-so-famous, the never-will-be-famous, in as many settings as there are streams of American music. Big band to trio jazz, bluegrass to pop. Where ever he goes, he's always got his heart in the blues.
An alumnus of Bo Diddley's BoKay production company, and Chuck Berry's pick-up bands, among others, Brook is just as comfortable in front of a cafe audience with an acoustic guitar as he is wailing for thousands. For the complete story, check out his web site.
From the Valencia Times: "Brook is the one who impressed me the most. Besides his good jazz and blues sense on bass and guitar, Brook is a fine writer."

Absolute bare necessity!
author: SusanThis cd is great! Brook's warm voice, his from the heart-lyrics combined with great guitar playing and earth-based rythms really touched me. A real must-have!
Soultouching
author: Morgaine"The Great Blues Sea" has become one of my favourites. Soultouching blues with deepgoing lyrics, telling of life experience and of creating "another world, which is possible!". Goes right under the skin!
Great blues with a lot of swing and emotions.
author: JocelynThis is blues... and great one. Brook is a very talented singer and writer, and an awesome guitar player. This album has a lot of swing and emotions played in his own style. I like to listen to it often.
Cherish precious life
author: Dale E. MooreI'm a computer nerd often out of touch with real life. Brook’s music brings me back in touch and energizes me. So much that I will end with one of my few poems: Cherish precious life; Melodious rhythmic Brook; You move me to act.
