ABOUT BRITE LITES:

Brite Lites are a melodic indie-rock band from Birmingham, England. They formed in November 2005. They met through shared management and after both bands they had previously played in fell by the wayside they decided to get together to form their own sound.
Brite Lites have already built up a big following on the Birmingham music scene and are currently booking up gigs around the country to promote their new 6 track EP that was released by themselves in May 2007. A must see band! Watch out for them soon at a venue near you!

Brite Lites

It’s easy to see why Birmingham based Brite Lites have garnered some attention with their strong live following before releasing their infectious mini album a few weeks ago. Their first track release, TLA is a sweetly melodic burst of energy. Drums thump, guitars weave and bob, and singers Lee Weston and the Tovey brothers croon as they woo the listeners to their tunes.

This foundation helps Brite Lites pull off possibly the music that may just help the band reach the heights their music deserves. It’s fitting to describe TLA as harmonious and pleasing to the ear. This song is continually on the verge of explosion. Lucky for any Indie/Rock fans within earshot, Brite Lites is one of the genre’s specialties.

Discovering a gem like Brite Lites, is a bit like wondering through a secret door. If you want to imagine what it’s like, think of any moment in your life when you met something new that seemed to instantly fill a gap you didn’t know was there in your mind. To hear something so silvery and rhythmical as the chorus of TLA is to believe that in a sense time can stop. “We’ve got to get our message out to the world” “I just so just wanna get there”. You get the feeling that the sun does shine a little brighter where the band lives. As word-of-mouth starts spreading like positive wildfire, 2007 may just be the year that sees the band join their influences as equals.
