notes
Rob is considered one of the pioneers in contemporary dulcimer playing. With his extensive background in music theory, arranging and classical guitar, Rob has helped stretch the repertoire of the dulcimer beyond what many though possible. His playing has been called, "strong, masterful and innovative." Rob's recording, "Someone to Watch Over Me" demonstrates that the dulcimer can be used in any ensemble setting and for any style of music from Renaissance to pop. Oh yeah, and he yodels and has a dog named Rover.
