This Sanskrit chamber ensemble has poured their passion for chanting and breadth of musical knowledge into the CD, "Namo Namah."

"Namo Namah" is a blend of Western virtuoso instrumentation (double bass, classical guitar, tabla, and hammered dulcimer), exquisite 3-part vocal harmonies and traditional Indian chant.

"Namo Namah" is perfect for long car rides, devotional practice, or as background music at art galleries, yoga studios, or gatherings at home.

"Namo Namah" is a sublime acoustic alternative in the yoga/kirtan genre. Recorded in a concert hall, what you hear is pure, intimate and transcendent.

    This is an absolutely beautiful collection of Sanskrit chants sung in rich harmonies in an acoustic setting. The blend of Eastern and Western musical elements is just perfect; and the unadorned acoustic sound of the album is pleasantly refreshing, and totally unlike anything I have ever heard in this genre of music. I hope that these artists will continue to produce music like this, and I look forward to hearing their next album.

    this is really pleasing to the ear!!!! and the harmonies ....wow! i have many chanting cd's and they are nice and all but have that eastern nasal quality that doesn't jell with my ears.....whoever is singing just vibrates so well, hard to find words to describe it!!! i am a classically trained pianist and singer and this cd just rocks in my opinion!!!
