notes
Twenty-four year-old singer-songwriter Brandon Chandler is proving to be a rare breed among other songwriters of his generation. Originally from Louisiana, Chandler relocated to Portland, Oregon at a young age, but his Southern roots continue to echo loudly through his soulful crooning. His pop-conscious songwriting and strong melodies have drawn comparisons to Ben Harper and Jason Mraz, but his delicate and passionate vocals set him apart as a sexy and unique talent.
In 2007 he independently released his debut LP “After all this time” produced by Revival guitarist Peter Rodocker. The album, along with the Revival’s captivating live show helped draw the interest of Sony/ATV Music Publishing (John Mayer/One Republic) Crush Management (Fall out boy/Panic at the Disco), and Casablanca Music Publishing, who Chandler recently signed a co-publishing deal with.
Last March Chandler and company showcased at the famed SXSW music conference in Austin, TX and are currently in the studio recording their sophomore album "Make love sing" due in early fall of 2008.
Brandon Chandler: The Voice
"Well, he’s more than just a voice actually, Brandon Chandler is the whole package- Great voice, solid songs, and a great look. It’s just a matter of time before this outstanding local talent makes it on to the global music radar.
His voice is reminiscent of Jason Mraz, but with a touch more soul. Brandon and his band The Revival traveled to Austin recently and played SXSW to rave reviews.
He’s featured on the KINK.FM Plug In Portland, Local Music CD Sampler, and you should definitely pick up his latest CD "After All This Time."
Remember the name, and the voice. Brandon Chandler."

It took me 45 seconds to fall in love.
author: Megan WellingAfter raving about the talent of this young artist, a friend of mine put on Brandon Chandlers, album to give me a taste. “Slow Up, Slow Down” is the first track to play. Just seconds into the song, I could literally feel the depth of his lyrics. God given natural talent for sure. Somewhere between 45 and 60 seconds into the song, I had a “Wow, this guy is good!” jaw-dropping experience. Brandon has seriously got somethin’. He’s got soul!
