BRAIN[FAQ] Biography
BRAIN[FAQ] was formed in early 2000 out of five young people having a vision and a friendship. Musically it just should be emotional, heavy and good.
The Band started growing pretty fast, recorded a demo and an EP in the following year and is playing around 30 shows a year all around Germany and neighbour states in Europe.
They could win three band contests and support some well known Bands like 4lyn.
Musically noone found a band BRAIN[FAQ] could be compared with easily. A bit of Soulfly, Machinehead, Pantera and so on. The German lyrics create a very special sound - even in Germany. The guys say that they are better in expressing there inner thoughts and feelings in their mother tongue- and by the way- German is a quite good language for making hard and angry sounding metalcore.
The Album "Nutze die Zeit" was recorded in Summer 2002 and shows the wide range of musical inspiration of the band. Driven by groove- oriented drums, lead by 'in your face' guitar riffs and faced by triple vocals which sream, whisper, cry and sing their souls out.
Authenticity is very important and natural for the bands philosophy. Live shows are always 100 percent energy and the guys are glad to have a big part of that energy and feeling on the disk...
BRAIN[FAQ] is
Andreas Herrmann - vocals
Robert Kunz - guitar/ vocals
Ralph Leistner - guitar

  • Kick Ass!

Nothing better than a little hard metal to listen to when you feel a bit ticked with the world. A few kick ass lyrics, in German, make the songs that much better. I got it today in the mail and have listened to it a few times already.
