BulletProof Messenger’s music can be described as being melodic enough to attract alternative rock fans, though heavy enough to appeal to even metal listeners. Couple this with layers of electronics and powerful vocals, BPM creates a completely new dynamic. This sonic variety is clearly reflected in the music and live performances.

Formed by DJ/Programmer Matt Litwin and Guitarist Voley Martin, BulletProof Messenger underwent a great deal of change before finding their niche. While the duo wrote various tracks together and performed instrumentally for quite some time, finding a solid vocalist was paramount to the success of the group.

Unwilling to compromise with the sound with poor vocals, after a grueling three year search for a singer, vocalist Marcus Klavan joined the band. His dedication was immediately evident when he relocated from his home in Maryland to Long Island, NY.

Immediately following Marcus' incorporation into the group, the band was selected by Incubus to perform as their opening act after consideration of countless applicants. This show ignited the following year’s touring schedule.

Later that year, the band was selected to perform in the 92.5 KGB FM Clear Channel Battle of the Bands. The band went on to win the competition, turning heads along the way with their newest addition drummer, Alex Straiter. His energy at live performances and unique style brought an exciting new dynamic to the sound of BulletProof Messenger.

Following this success, the band was selected by Collective Soul to be the direct opener for the release of their new album. Just days later, the band was selected by XM Satellite Radio as one of the top unsigned acts in the country and was selected by the band Trapt to open their shows.

After a year and a half in pre-production and 3 months in the studio, working with noteworthy individuals such as Tony Dawsey (NIN, Jay-Z, Kid Rock) BulletProof Messenger completed their self produced debut release, “The Crucial Line”, released in November 2006.

    All I can say is where did this come from. This is probably the one of the best CD's I've heard in long while. The production is outstanding and the CD rocks your ass off from beginning to end. It is very rare, very rare that I will listen to and like every song on an album but this one is special. This album and the similar band ACLARION are now my 2 favorites that i can't seem to get out of the CD player. How they are not signed is a grave injustice to all real music loving individuals out there. Do not miss out on this one. Have an advanced copy of their new one and it looks to be another home run from them. Keep supporting independent artists. And maybe 1 day the record companies will get their heads out of their asses and support and sign some real musical acts that (what a concept) actually deserve it. I wish I had my own record label. They would be signed in a heartbeat.

    this cd is very well put together. the songs are very catchy and in my opinion just as good as some of incubus songs. the whole cd keeps your attention and makes you want to keep on rockin! i hope to see these guys live in cleveland some time. keep the songs comin BPM!

    Buy this CD you will be impressed with the great riffs, solid hooks, strong lyrics. And not one song to skip, they are all great! The best new group of the year. Turn up the volume! Can't wait for the nest album to drop. If "next to me" is a hint, we are in for more great tracks. Unsigned, are you kidding?

    Very good Cd I must admit...catchy songs with a lot of hooks, you'll be humming it while working.. LOL "Bring me to life".."The Way"...and love the way that musical "11:59" blends right in to the next song"Tomorrow"... keep it up guys!!...and thanks for the good music!

    Dude this CD is the best. Your drummer gave it to me and I am impressed with every song on this CD. I love listening to all the songs on the CD soooooo much. And I love to praactice the songs on my drums. I think this the best band I have ever listened to in my hole life!!!!!!

    Have been a long time listener of BPM/GTE and its refreshing to see a band grow with their music. This cd proves that they have matured vocally as well as musicly. Stand out tracks include: ...Call It A Fall, The Way, The Truth and Tomorrow. Yet still the other tracks you can not skip over, everything is worth a listen and once you hear your hooked. The cd also proves this band is multi dimensional, no two songs are the same. Thank you Bulletproof Messenger for making me believe that musicians still care about their music!

    Ok,i never buy cds, ever.... but my friend made me listen to this and it made me buy a cd for the first time in years. The songs are amazing, really good quality and theyre extremely catchy. Not to mention the band is really cool also, they acually reply to messages unlike most and i think if you buy the cd off their site they send you teh mp3s free?, im not sure either way, Buy this cd!

    Wow! Bulletproof Messenger f'n rocks! A friend just showed me these guys and I gotta say I am impressed. I am a musician myself and I definitely give them my respect. BPM knows what they are doing... the musicanship is top notch, but most importantly, the songs are GOOD. No complaints on any track. I've had the album less than a week and I've listened to it everyday...how often does that happen these days?! I am totally surprised. Can't wait to hear more from these guys and will be checking their webpage for tour updates. Check them out!!

    After buying BulletProof Messenger's cd, I haven't stopped listening to it. It is rare to find a cd that you can play all the way through without wanting to skip a few songs. All of the songs on the cd are amazing, and it is safe to say that BulletProof Messenger is my favorite band. That says a lot. You will be glad you bought their cd.
