A real family that Rocks
author: Much Ado About MusicThe Bostocks in review: Most bands are a intricate family affair writing and performing together on stage but what makes "the Bostocks" so unique is that they are a real teen family of 2 brothers and 2 sisters working together brilliantly creating a new original sound in power pop. Their lead guitar and electric violin solos are dazzling live. Hendrix meets the Corrs comes to mind with voices to match. What makes the Bostocks stand out even more is their ability to work live with many of Australia's Rock legends, and it is not unusual to see them with their special guests jamming to their old hits. Phil Emannuel, Stevie Wright, Ray Hoff & Mykl Lozin are just a few names that frequent the Bostocks stage and gigs with estatic audience approval. The Bostocks are a hit in Australia and their debut ep and follow up albums will no doubt open doors for them overseas as well. 5 stars. M.
