notes
"These days it's still a radical act for a woman to stand up and speak her truth; yet without these 'rebels', the story never changes. Bora Yoon breaks the silence with her brave and honest songwriting. Another s/hero in the making..." --Pamela Means
"...operatic and intense, genre-scrambling and iconoclastic... She's wordy, confessional, poetic in a way that doesn't involve a lot of rhyming. Meaning her music is smart and different and,
measured against the general run of people who sing and song-write, a cut or three above the rest." -NOISE Art Mag
Award-winning NYC singer/songwriter Bora Yoon releases her
acclaimed second solo album PROSCENIUM -- garnering awards from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and Billboard Music and a featured music video officially airing on MTV Labs and MV Wire.
"...An uplifting, empathetic sensibility and a fearless command of her voice... innovative beyond her years." --Rachael Sage, Lillith Fair performer and John Lennon Songwriting Contest winner. www.rachaelsage.com
"Yoon is a remarkable talent..." --The Ithacan
"Speaking of beauty and exhilaration, these are only two words that describe Ithaca College's Bora Yoon..." --14850 Magazine

Fantabulous!
author: Nadia Jackson...to find a piece of music with a message, with a heartfelt memory, and the depth of truth, is truly refreshing. In this CD, you will find hurt, love, happiness, sadness, confusion and the will to work it all out. It takes a person of great strength to share the depths of their mind, even a little bit. Thanks Bora!
Fantastic!
author: Richard LynchBora gave me a copy to review for booking at Uncommon Ground. The booklet alone put it ahead of the pack -- You should buy this CD just for the booklet. Fortunately, the music was fantastic as well. I'm stealing it from the archives for my personal collection! It's that good. (Don't worry, we hooked her up with the gig FIRST.) Sumptious soaring vocals over intricate arrangements and strong songwriting make this a winner.
