    In a car filled with CD's by people like Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris, Tom Waits...etc, etc, this is a CD that I come back to AGAIN and AGAIN. Frame is truly one of my very favorite records of all time. "Orion", "Was I Wrong", "Dirty Bones", "Where Would I Go" and "Losing You" are the perfect blend of country/rock hooks, thought provoking lyrics and beautiful, catchy melodies. If you have fond memories of riding down the highway in a VW with the windows down, listening to "Take it Easy", just buy the CD....NOW!!

    If you're a fan of The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Gram Parsons or just an alt-country freak you've just hit paydirt. The songwriting, musicianship, arrangements, and Peter's inimitable vocals make this a must have CD. There's no introspective navel gazing on this CD. No directionless drivel masquerading as profundity. Just straight up, honest lyrics laid over timeless, rootsy music. Peter has the ability to craft songs like Dirty Bones and Coronado Bridge that just seem to build and build and somehow spiral back on themselves like an Escher drawing. Truly beautiful work.

    This thought provoking CD had me jumping right into it, remembering and filling in the gaps, connecting to myself. Bolland invites us to enter his music with mournful lap steel, wailing harmonica, and words that evoke basic human questioning and tug at universal heartstrings. Lyric junkies rejoice! Aside and equal to this esoteric bent is a damn good band. Each musical element is well framed and developed, providing a full crisp sound throughout. Guitar enthusiasts, sit up and pay attention. Bolland's guitar talks blues, rock, and delicate intricacy with equal fluency.
