Bobby Susser, M.A. Communication Arts and Sciences and Early Childhood Education, Columbia University, has written and produced original, easy-to-learn, award winning children’s songs since 1972 as well as the internationally acclaimed, "Once You Understand," for teenagers. Six (6) times, he has been awarded the Early Childhood News Directors’ Choice Award, Dr. Toy’s/The Institute for Childhood Resources’ "Best Children’s Vacation Products Award," "100 Best Children's Products Award," "10 Best Audio-Video Products Award," "Best Classic Products Award," "10 Best Socially Responsible Products," and the "Parents' Choice Award" for his ongoing series "Bobby Susser Songs For Children." He has also contributed and recorded an official theme song to the world renowned St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Bobby Susser chooses and works with several types of singers and musicians depending upon the song, style, and subject matter. He feels that the performance as well as the song must be believable, honest, and sincere. These important qualities are the running threads throughout his original songs and activities.   • Bobby Susser's Children's Music Shines

    I have the CD "All Roads Lead To Home" and play it for my preschool class. The whole collection is fantastic in every way. Bobby Susser and his songs about family and home are great. My kids love it and Bobby Susser shines when it comes to children's songs.

  • Simple, Timeless, And Classic

    Bobby Susser's All Roads Lead To Home is simple for kids to learn, the subjects of home and family are timeless and his style of songwriting makes this new CD another classic. My 3 and 6 year old love all the songs and understand the points of family and home being made. My nephews who are 4 and 7 were at our house and loved the songs so much that we had to buy a copy for them. The typical infectious and repetitive choruses that hold everyone's interest are present in all the songs along with great strong beats and catchy melodies. I cannot imagine a children's CD getting better than this one.

    This album is filled with great songs for kids. It feels like Bobby Susser writes his songs for kids and no one else. His songs and arrangements in this album have my 4 and 6 year old singing along and having the time of their lives. The big bonus is that they also teach the kids. This guy is not worried about whether mom and dad think he's cool by injecting things that might sound like what an adult would buy. He really sounds like he's thought about the kids and if mom and dad like it too, I guess that's another bonus, but not that important. My husband and I really think this guy is one of the very few that gets it.

    I have a preschool school and day camp and our young kids like a lot of music. I got "All Roads Lead To Home" for them in July. The kids love it and the teachers and staff love it as I do, more than anything we've ever used. Its messages are very important for all, its songs are wonderful and very easy to learn, the entire album is just so superior to most children's albums I have ever heard that it sounds like a grammy winner, if the judges are fortunate enough to hear what I, all my kids, teachers, and staff hear. It's just plain superior and should be heard, I think.

    I'm a teacher of young children in early childhood grades. I bought this CD for my own children and my classes I'll see again this fall. My own kids took to each song like a duck takes to water. The melodies are catchy and great. The lyrics are meaningful and easy to learn. The instrumentation and vocal performances are awesome. I could say that Susser made a masterpiece, but it would be more accurate to say that "All Roads Lead To Home" is almost perfect. I've not heard the likes of this ever before as a teacher and parent. To say it stands out among great children's CDs would also be accurate. It's quite something.

    My pre-school class loves the entire CD. It is such a warm and friendly collection. Songs like "Grandpa Knows So Many Things" and "Grandma's Eyes", and the unusual rhythm of "All You Need Is Your Family", as well as the catchy "All Roads Lead To Home" and all the fun the little ones have singing "70" make this CD so unbelievably fantastic that you almost feel that all roads lead to home and to Bobby Susser. He has touched upon forever feelings through his songs on this CD. This guy is NOT your everyday writer for young children. There are very good ones out there, but this guy is IT. There is no doubt, he's the real deal. These songs are filled with wisdom and caring and love for children and they are written in a way so that children can easily learn each song and the lesson in it. I've not come across anything better, in several years of teaching pre-school.

    This CD is the most superb CD I have ever played for the young kids in my after school program for kids 4-7 years old. Every single song is so catchy and filled with good feelings. It's been a long long time that I've heard a collection that does not have one song in it that is not super. This is undoubtedly power packed and will be a super special bunch of songs for many many years. Hats off to Bobby Susser.

    My daycare center children just heard the songs on this CD and they can't stop singing them after one listen. The songs are like magic because they are such fun, and so great as they teach my kids the most important thing they need to know and that's family. The cd is fun and it's good and is something that you don't see. It is a SMART CD. Bobby Susser has what it takes. You can't lose with SMART when you are playing to kids and it looks like Bobby Susser knows that very well.

The importance of home and family are the themes that are covered here in the most fantastic songs that will inspire kids and their teachers. Bobby Susser keeps your intetrest with every single song. You cannot go wrong with this CD. It will be around forever and ever. Mr. Susser chose a subject that needed to be covered and especially the way he did it. It's like a master work.
