BlotSoulz was founded by James Carson in 2005. James - a drummer, DJ and producer has always been determined to listen to, and produce, music with real energy. "It all started when I heard Wu Tang's 36 Chambers when I was 12 years old on a crap cassette player by my bunkbed - that album's got energy!" Hip Hop has always been the passion in the music, but with all of the influences in the BlotSoulz project it seems there are other musical influences there too - including Trip Hop, Electronica, Physcadelic Rock and Soul. This Debut album is a taste of what is yet to come and BlotSoulz Productions is currently working very closely with many original Hip Hop artists all over the world to bring fresh ideas to the musical table. A darkness lurks behind every beat. . .
