notes
Formed in 2004, Bliszko are a Cardiff based rock band currently making a name for themselves on the South Wales gig circuit and beyond.
Featuring Anna Williams on vocals/guitar, Pete Robinson on bass and Jon Davies on drums, the band have received acclaim from local, national and American online publications and with a burgeoning Myspace following, the band are building a dedicated fan base within the rock scene.
Originally a four piece line up, the band downsized to the three piece line up they now are and in doing so enabled themselves to realize their potential, gaining the energy of a classic power trio and demonstrating a new found sense of group purpose and solidarity.
With “SLIP” their debut release, Bliszko have fused influences from rock, punk and metal with intensely personal lyrics spanning universal themes to create a welcome alternative to the formulaic songwriting approach of recent times.
The four tracks represent a cross section of the band's material and are a great indication of the depth and versatility on offer at their brilliant live shows.
Bliszko will be promoting “SLIP” extensively in 2007, with up to date gig listings, photos and lyrics available online at http://www.bliszko.com or at http://www.myspace.com/bliszko
