Bliss Wood is the founder of CHANT DANCE, a wellness practice based on the techniques of yoga, dance and kirtan. (WATCH FOR HER UPCOMING MUSICAL RELEASE, "CHANT DANCE-Ecstasy") She is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor and licensed massage therapist as well as a published singer/songwriter. Her holistic approach to health and wellness, coupled with her diverse artistic background brings a uniquely personal experience to those who participate in her classes and workshops. Bliss has been practicing Hatha Yoga for over 15 years. Certified in Ananda Yoga and trained in Svaroopa Yoga, she has been teaching a deep, meditative style of Yoga, witnessing positive physical, mental, emotional and spiritual results in her students across the country.

Bliss currently travels throughout the United States teaching seminars and retreats on "CHANT DANCE" and "Yoga for Deep Relaxation", "Empowering Your Life". "Awareness and focus begin within" is the major concept for Bliss' seminars. The use of Visualization, Meditation, Pranayama, Yoga postures, Dance and Kirtan help to bring a full-being experience to everyone who practices this fun, yet deeply meditative style of movement.

Bliss' classes and seminars are excellent for beginners as well as advanced students. She has a way of integrating all levels of skill and understanding so that everyone experiences the perfect blend of awareness, healing and fun! Students are encouraged to listen to their own bodies and experience Yoga at their own pace. Her soothing voice gently guides you through your "full-being" Yoga practice into a state of total body/mind/spirit connection.

    I bought the CD to supplement a Svaroopa Yoga class I was taking. I have been alternating listening to Bliss's CD and one with my other Yoga teacher. I found the CD easy to follow and enjoy listening to it on a weekly basis. I wish the Shavasana section was longer but otherwise I would most definitely recommend buying it to anyone.

    Bliss Wood has created a completely relaxing and soothing yoga session which enabled me to be as completely restored as if I had an hour of therapeutic massage.     I am enjoying this CD so much! I use it to unwind after downhill skiing. It is so completely relaxing that I think I have fallen asleep a couple of times at the end! The deep breathing really is just what the doctor ordered at the high altitude where I live. It has helped to keep me from feeling sore after skiing.     This CD offers simple, easy to follow guidance in postures that affect main areas of concern for my massage clients. The added benefit is the infusion of Bliss' soft, melodic voice and the gentle piano accompianment that invites listeners to a peaceful state. I recommend it to MANY of my clients.

    Loved the cd. It is so easy to follow and Bliss' voice is calm and soothing. An hour of slow gentle poses. I was actually surprised to find I could follow a spoken session, rather than a video/dvd version. Now, I think I prefer this type and hope Bliss Wood makes more of the same
