notes
Bleed For Sorrow (now called WHAT LIES BENEATH THE TIDE) is a five piece band out of Coventry, RI. Originally started in 2006 as High Tensions, High Tensions took a twist away from the hard rock scene and turned to their passion of heavy metal changing their band name to Bleed For Sorrow. Originally started by Taylor Field (drummer) and Dan Hart (ex-rhythm guitarist), Taylor and Dan recruited Lead guitarist Tim Lucier, Bassist Kevin Kelling and Vocalist Chris Fontaine. After some difficulties within the band Rhythm guitarist Dan Hart and Bassist Kevin Kelling departed from the band (now Bleed For Sorrow) and went their separate ways. Replacing Dan at rhythm Guitar is ex-Ashes Of Mercy lead guitarist John D'amico, And ex- Pillar of Flames bassist Kyle Coutnoir. Leaving orignal members Taylor Field, Tim Lucier and Chris Fontaine. Bleed For Sorrow has taken another twist and dimension on their upcoming EP that will be out in stores at the end of the summer of 2007 on Devil's Head Records, "Sing the Die Song". As new members Kyle and John bring more intensity to the table while still holding the original Bleed For Sorrow sound, this cd displays the diversity between hardcore, progressive, death metal and other genres. We hope to please our fans with our continuing growth as musicians and as a family and are very excited about our new band and our new CD.
