The genesis of this CD came about from my love of Christmas music and my desire to help The Trevor Helpline...the only toll-free, 24-hour suicide prevention hotline for gay and questioning youth. I have poured my heart and soul into this project. Have a listen.......I think it'll make a nice soundtrack for your Holiday season.     John was an amazing person and phenominal performer. I had the pleasure of working with him in Palm Springs before his untimely passing. For those of you who are truly fans, I hope you were able to obtain a copy of his Christmas song, recorded shortly before his death. It's called, "A Not So Silent Night". It's absolutely beautiful.     Wow. I just stumbled upon this looking for another actor by the same name. I looked further to see if it was the John I knew. It was and I'm so sad to hear that the John Blaylcok I new from Opryland in 1985 (!!!) was this John Blaylock and that he'd passed. All I had to do was hear that beauitful voice. I remember him well- always sweet- always singing something new for me. He was good friends with John Tally who I also think has left us. Two sweet, sweet talented guys. Yes, he'll live on with the likes Eva Cassidy and Nancy LaMott (another great X-mas CD)

    I went to college with John Blaylock in Alabama and hearing his wonderful voice on this CD bring back campus memories. He was famous at school for his interpretation of "When A Man Loves A Woman" and I only wish I could find a recording of him singing that song. John's talents had no limit and it is unfortunate that he died way too young. He is missed by many.

Much like listening to Eva Cassidy or Karen Carpenter...the beauty and grace of a voice that has been stilled in one sense, yet lives on forever because of their music. John was always so warm and gracious to me in person and I will treasure this gift he left forever! The choir of angels is richer for his voice being added!
