Neo-prog left field Zappa tinged guitar-based instrumental rock music, conjuring aural images of Mike Keneally, Oingo Boingo and Joe Satriani. The album is laced with soundbites and bears track titles highlighting diverse issues suggesting a political awareness which always complements composition rather than overpowering it. Mature songwriting and compositional skill, eclectic instrumentation and some very tasteful guitar playing together garnish this excellent independent release.
