Billy Paul Williams was born in Stolkes Hall Jamaica, in a Home filled with music.
His father Vincent was a musician turned Minister, nick named "Johnny Guitar"
known for his virtuoso guitar playing. So there were continuous music in his home.
At the age of six, his father hoping to make a better life for this Family of eight left Jamaica.
After living in several countries , the family moved to Miami where Billy received a scholarship
to attend the University of Miami, where he majored in Studio Music and jazz under Don Coffman.
After University Billy Ventured out again back to Europe
where he formed a band in West Berlin Germany called “THE WALK”.
As lead singer Billy touring Europe opening for such names as DURAN DURAN, TERENCE TRENT D’ARBY,
Mory kante, Tangerine Dreams and many others.
Four years later The Walk disbaned, Billy then moved to Lausanne Switzerland , where he performing as a solo artistaalso as a producer for local Artists.
Two years later he joined friends from Miami on a Tour of Asia, (Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong)
touring for a year as a singer and bass player.
Shortly after returning to Miami he audition for Latin Super star Chayenne,
Playing bass and singing on a tour of South America and Spain.
It wasn't too long till Billy found himself touring with Shakira on her first engagements in the US.
Also working with Others like LUIS Migel of Mexico, MARTHA SANCHEZ of Spain
and Dance DJ/producer ROBBIE REVERA who co-authored with Billy the European dance hit "SEX".
Billy is now based in Miami Beach where he launched BillyGoat & Reigning Sky Music, his own Production / Record label.
Writing and producing for himself as well as various Artists.
Composing in all styles and genres, Dance, Chill, Hip hop, Pop, Rock, even Film scores.
Just in 2006 he wrote and arranged music for The Largest Cuban Show in Las Vegas "THE HAVANA NIGHT SHOW"
Giving birth to his CD ""HAVANA NIGHT CHILL", also Landing musical scores for television
like the CBS Television hit show " GHOST WHISPERS."
So what's next for Billy Paul Williams? the sky is the limit.
