BIO
Billy Gee is a multi-faceted singer and performer in his live shows. He does songs off this album, but also can sing like many of the great singers of our time such as Elvis, Andy Williams, Nat King Cole, Buddy Holly, Dean Martin, and Marty Robbins. He has done shows while traveling on the road and learned a great deal about entertaining. He was once with the great Bob Kuban and the Inmen band {now the Bob Kuban Brass} who recorded the hit called look out for "The Cheater". Billy not only does country, but he loves to do other kinds of music, so "look out" for a possible upcoming retro soul album with a remake of "The Cheater" as well as other "blue eyed soul" songs of the past and probably some new ones. On the east coast the retro soul thing is starting to catch on. Young folks are starting to listen to Otis Redding, James Brown, Aretha Franklin and others great soul artists once again. Please keep Billy Gee in mind if you are looking for some terrific soul music coming soon to CDbaby and Tower Records.

Billy Gee has big time Talent!
author: Herb Sharbel, Nashville TNBilly Gee hit a homerun with this CD...It contains 4 or his own original songs, written and arranged by Billy himself...it also has 2 other original, never heard before songs written by Harvey Cooper of Nashville...the CD also contains Billy's rendition of the great Platters' hit, Only You...Billy is the only other performer I've ever heard sing this song except for the Platters themselves...it is a very difficult song to sing, and Billy does it very, very well!
