This disc is the sound of a guy who's played for many a tough audience, and doesn’t consider surrendering the stage until he’s won over every stubborn holdout. As the brevity of the CD indicates, it doesn't take Perry too long to get the job done.

Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry spent his early years picking cotton in the fields around his Mississippi home. He was born near Abbeville, MS in Tula, on land where his ancestors had worked as slaves. He went to the same one-room school that his grandparents had attended. His family migrated to Chicago when he was fourteen. Bill hit the road as a professional musician at the age of seventeen. His travels have carried him all over the US, throughout the world and then back home again to Mississippi. Bill has been playing his music for over forty years.
Bill is a songwriter, a guitarist, and an educator. He worked with B.B. King in the B.B. King Music workshop at MVSU and opened at the B.B. King festival in Indianola. He started Wednesday night blues at Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, MS, and continues to play there on many a Wednesday night. You can see him perform at many of the Mississippi festivals and the regional and national festivals. He will be doing some extensive touring in the summer of 2008 in California and across the U.S. Bill was tapped to play the role of The Bluesman in a film called the Way of War, which stars Cuba Gooding, Jr. Watch for the release of this action packed movie.
