Bill Mumy multi talented musician, actor, writer delivers an amazing set of new songs on his latest CD the landlord or the guest. Bill is best remembered for being the star of Lost in Space, Babylon 5 and the Twilight Zone. What most people do not know is that he is a prolific songwriter, sings and plays many instruments. On Bill's latest release he delivers his best set of songs to date. There is an acoustic at home feel to his new tracks that really draws one near to the essence of his music.   • THE LANDLORD OR THE GUEST: MESMERIZING AND TRUTHFUL

    Bill has done it this time. Song #13 on this beautiful album "I Drove By Your House Last Night" is one of the best songs ever written. Bill has put so much of his heart and soul into this album. I can't imagine what life would be like without it! This album takes you on a journey to life and love. This cd haunts my soul, and I could listen to it everyday. Every song will touch your heart. If you haven't fallen in love with Bill before now, you will. You will go out and buy all of his cds after hearing this one. The enclosed booklet is a bonus surprise. A very FAB picture of Bill on the cover with his guitar. Then when you open the booklet, the journey begins. I felt like I had gone back in time and became a part of Bill's life from the beginning. As an artist Bill shares so much of himself with his fans, and I personally want to thank Bill for touching my life with his amazing talent. Bill has really done it this time.

    This latest CD by Bill Mumy is a set of sweet, sorrowful songs of the past, longing laments over the present and perhaps a glimmer of hope for the future. The steady drum cadence running through several songs sounds like history marching on. Bill contrasts what is, what might be and perhaps what should be. His delightful quick ditty of "Harrigan-by-the-Sea" is a simple statement about someone making a difference. Love that banjo..... "No Show" seems to be a bitter pill to swallow and sarcastic statement about love that disappoints and "Up the Hill" is a struggle that all lives must endure. Photographs on the CD are like a personal family photo album of our parents we all looked at when we were kids. Bill's bitter-sweet songs are mostly looking back like those photos of another time. The loudest, strongest song reflecting the title "Landlord or Guest" to me is about a confusing, angry decision, maybe about divorce. Not fun. "I Drove By Your House Last Night" projects the most tender heart-wrenching image of an impossible love - and may bring tears to some eyes! "Stubborn Girl" continues the same theme of a couple that just didn't get together. Overall, the final theme seems to be that we all have dreams but we can't always make them happen! So, Bill ends the CD with "Goodbye" but he also knows it is not that easy to do. But Bill does know how to win our hearts - we all love this CD! Thanks....

    It's not hard to write another review of this magnificent album, because I can't stop listening to it. It's like as soon as the last song Goodbye is played, it makes me want to hear My Reflection In Your Mirror again. The first thing I notice about these songs are the powerful words and expressive vocals. I love listening to the words and the beautiful music so much. Some of my favorites include The Landlord Or The Guest, I Drove By Your House Last Night, No Show, My Reflection In Your Mirror, Change Myself, Up The Hill, Strangers Like Me, Stubborn Girl, Why Does It Hurt, When I Was Loved By You, How Does It Go, Everything And Nothing Has Changed, Harrigan By The Sea and especially Strangers Like Me. It's impossible to pick a favorite, so I listed them all. It's so impressive that Bill started this album near the beginning of the year, recorded all the vocals, played all the instruments himself and the CD was released by GRA on schedule on July 15th. The music of Bill Mumy is definitely worth listening to. This is Bill's sixth officially released solo album. You'll definitely want to add them all to your music collection. You'll become addicted and you won't be disappointed.

    Bill's newest album is some of the greatest music to come out of this year's releases. An incredibly talented songwriter and musician. Bill's lyrics are meaningful and well played. He is an amazing guitarist. Bill's voice creates wonderful harmony with his music. Every song has been masterfully recorded. He hits a deep core of emotion in his music. I would recommend this CD to anyone. He is truly a great talent.

    THE LANDLORD OR THE GUEST has arrived. THE LANDLORD OR THE GUEST new cd by Bill Mumy proves that Bill has done the impossible. He has created a new cd that is even better than his past ones. These songs speak out to what everyone longs to put into words, but only he has the ability to put those words so beautifully together. I am in such amazement over this album. It is indescribable. One would have to get it to really realize how incredible it is. The guitar and harmonica music is absolutely breathtaking, and his voice is more strong and powerful than ever, yet soft and sexy at just the right moments. Each song tells a story and makes you envision a whole music video in your head as you take each song into the depths of your soul. This album brought me a lot of peace and understanding. I had a real connection to my inner thoughts, and somehow the world became more complete. I love listening to this cd at home and in the car with the window down as I look out into the world. As the wind hits my face, hearing Bill's voice overpowering even the wind is a very amazing feeling as I look out into the beautiful day. Yes, this is a true story. No dramatization. Hearing Bill's voice echo through the wind of the tress and up to the clouds of the sky is an experience like none other. This cd will put you into a state of absolute peace and completion. Everyone not only should get this cd but needs to get this cd. Bill Mumy music will change your life forever, and things will never be the same again. You will be more complete and have a deeper understanding of life and emotions. Not only can the man sing, but he can tell a story that will bring tears to your eyes or make you dream for bigger things. THE LANDLORD OR THE GUEST - A haunted sadness. A reflected past. Angela Cartwright did an excellent job with the design and photography on the cover and in the cd booklet which is a piece of art all by itself. It is very creative. Bill and Liliana took very artistic pictures as well. And I love the old fashioned pictures of Bill's parents when they were younger. It's like a beautiful scrapbook that you just found in a treasure chest bringing the past into the future and making them one. I am very impressed with this whole production! Bill is a wonderful gift to the entire music world. This cd is what I call a cd miracle that has taken off into a life all of its own. I had very high expectations of this cd, and Bill even outdid that. Thanks, Bill, for sharing your amazing talents with us all. May this album bring you all the success that you want it to and well deserve.
